Tifway Bermuda
Simpson Sod’s Tifway Bermuda #419 is a beautiful, fine-bladed grass recommended for athletic fields, commercial properties and other high traffic areas. Tifway is known for it's excellent traffic tolerance.
It is called "TifWAY" because it has been used in golf course
fairWAYs for many years. Tifway Bermuda requires full sunlight - it will not
grow in shade. Because of Tifway's lack of shade tolerance it is usually not
used for home lawns. Tifway is also more susceptible to insect damage than
Empire Zoysia and Centipede.
